4.3 PTR Darkmoon Faire

Darkmoon Isle, wow! How much better it is than the orignal Darkmoon Faire, and it's so fun! Now I'm sure there will be a few poor people who will say how childish it is, but really, who listens to them?!

There are a lot of things to do now to earn Darkmoon Prize Tickets, these tickets can be spent on pets, mounts and also ...gear for transmogrification!!

At the moment on the PTR there are two 'Replica Armor Prizes' vendors up which are exchanging gear for Darkmoon Prize Tickets, and they currently have the tier 0 and tier 0.5 gear.
Now yes, I know that this is not the most interesting gear, as the tier 0 are the heirloom models, but it is better than nothing! Tier 0.5 is a nicer recolour and I think will be more popular than it's previous tier.

How much do these items cost!? I will show you!

What do these armour sets look like? For those who do not know I will show you, the tier 0 will be on the left, and the 0.5 on the right.

4.3 PTR Transmogging Heirlooms

Having a look on the PTR I was curious about how the heirlooms worked. As you are able to transmogrify heirlooms I was wondering how it worked.

I hopped along to the transmogging vendor guy and mogged some heirloom shoulders which I had in my bank and changed them into my tier six shoulders, then I sent these to a new level one character but unfortunately the transmog enchant was wiped in the mail.

So to quickly sum up, heirlooms can be transmogged, but the look will be lost when sent to the character. You will just have to wait to pick up a random drop or quest reward before you can make your low level look slightly different.

4.3 PTR

Finally after a few weeks of disconnecting every time I logged onto the PTR, I got the problem sorted, so now I can check out the transmogging stuff.

I think that transmogging has a fair price on the PTR, the above image shows a 261g cost on something that is not even a full set, but as it goes in Warcraft at the moment it is not too hard to earn some cash.

There is a problem with the level 60 pvp gear at the moment, I was unable to use it for transmogrifying, apparently this is a bug and nothing to worry about (I hope.)

I'm also quite excited to see the new Darkmoon Faire Island which is not open yet, maybe it will open this weekend when the actual Darkmoon Faire starts. It will be nice to see what unobtainable gear you will be able to pick up there.

Been wondering around the PTR for a little while now, just taking some screenshots of stuff that people may find interesting, and some nice looking characters that I have come across. Enjoy.
