Female Dwarf Paladin, now in gold! (again)

Now I don't really like female dwarfs, they just look ...ugly (no offense  to any female dwarfs out there) so I set myself the challenge to try and make one look alright. I saw some sights that I never want to lay my eyes upon again.

Argh!

I am satisfied with this completed little set, it contains a lot of gold plate, including a few pieces of the Lawbringer set  (well you can't make a Paladin without gold!)

Lightbringer Faceguard - Tier 6 Head
Lawbringer Spaulders - Baron Geddon (Molten Core)
Thoriumweave Cloak - Mechano-Lord Capacitus (The Mechanar)
Phantom Armor -  Lord Waldon (Shadowfang Keep)
Lawbringer Gauntlets - Gehennes (Molten Core)
Conqueror's Girdle - Auction House, Random BC green
Lawbringer Legplates - Magmadar (Molten Core)
Hammer of the Penitent - Mechano-Lord Capacitus (The Mechanar)

Argent Inspired

This is a look which I plan on getting for my Paladin, after many, many failed attempts I have settled on this.
I always liked the big chunky looking boots on my blood elves, so any excuse to wear them, and I am also trying to step away from the bright tier looking sets that Paladin's usually have.

Shoulderguards of the Solemn Watch
Spiked Deathdealers
Legguards of the Peaceful Covenant
Ornate Saronite Waistguard
Gauntlets of Serene Blessing
Fang-Deflecting Faceguard
Enchanted Thorium Breastplate

Now to look for some matching weapons and a shield ...hmm

Level 70 Brutal Gladiator's Gear - Warrior

The season 4 gear is all based off the gear which drops in Sunwell, a hard raid instance that was added at the end of The Burning Crusade. I liked it because if you saw someone running around in either Sunwell, or Brutal gear, you knew that they were pro :D (or how much time and effort they had put in to look that good!)

...and a nice shield for the warrior set, even if it is a little on the big side.

Level 70 Brutal Gladiator's Gear - Paladin

There are four classes which have multiple sets of Brutal Gladiator's Gear due to them having different roles, from range, to healer and even melee in some cases, and they are Paladin, Druid, Shaman and Priest.

The sets for each spec look the same, so whichever one you get, as it is just for transmogrification, it makes no difference (that is unless you plan on twinking a level 70 battleground character.)

There are also some funky looking shields within the Brutal Gladiator's PVP gear that shouldn't be overlooked.

Level 70 Brutal Gladiator's Gear - Death Knight

Back in The Burning Crusade, arena was first released, which added another way to PVP, and if I remember correctly, all the arena gear required an arena rating, so I think it was quite rare to see a character with full Brutal Gladiator gear, although now, it is sold by the Legacy Armour Quartermasters in Orgrimmar and Stormwind

Both Alliance and Horde got the same models, but the armour types for each class (mail for Shamans and Hunters for example) stayed the same, just recoloured.

Back in Wrath, Blizzard were kind enough to add a level 70 PVP set for Death Knights!

Plate Look-a-likes

Mentioned in a previous post, The Burning Crusade instances dropped items that are recoloured tier 2 raid sets. These sets have no class requirements so Death Knights rejoice (you can run around looking like a Paladin or even a Warrior, and Warriors can look like Paladins, and Paladins can look like Warriors, ohhhh think of the confusion and the laughs it willl cause!)

So to start this little 'Look-a-like' section of posts here are the tier 2 raid plate look-a-likes!

Endbringer!

So, I was listening to this Dethroned - X Ray Dog and all that was swirling around in my head was a kickass looking warrior Bladestorming in a battleground, and this set is how I saw him. So you could say this was a vision from my mind. In truth, I thought this was cool and had jack to say about it.

Saltstone Shoulder Pads
Overlord's Legplates
Deathbone Sabatons
Deathbone Gauntlets

Level 60 Epic Pvp Gear - Paladin

Anyone who has done plenty of level 60 Alteric Valleys will recognise these two sets.

I twinked my level 60 enhancement Shaman and whenever I saw that golden glow running towards me I would right click and hope for the best.

Field Marshal's Aegis - Alliance
Warlord's Aegis - Horde

Looks Like Lightforge

Looks like Lightforge, smells like Lightforge, tastes like Lightforge...IT IS LIGHTFORGE ...kinda.
A nice set for an Alliance Paladin (or even a Death Knight, yes you can wear it too!) due to the nice big Stormwind lion head logo

Like most of the Vanilla look-a-like sets, these pieces are found in Burning Crusade dungeons.

Truth Bearer Shoulderguards

Level 60 Epic Pvp Gear - Warrior

Low level pvp gear is easy to come across these days, making it a not so horrifc grind to get some good Transmogrify gear. The level 60 parts are sold for as little as 125 honour, and some only being 70.

Warlord's Battlegear - Horde

Cracking Skulls

Ey mon! Dis troll be crackin' da skulls. You can't own a Troll without transmogging it back to their voodoo glory. If you are unable to get the recent gear in Zul'Aman, it is possible to obtain the old Burning Crusade badge gear which have very similar styles.

High Chief's Crown
Pauldrons of Gruesome Fate
Plate of the Shaman King
Bloodthirster Wargreaves

Light's Justice

Pally's have some great coloured sets, it's a shame the glow from the head could not be captured on the wowhead model viewer. Everyone who plays a Paladin must know that the brighter the Pally, the better the Pally (that may be a fact I just made up.)

Light's Justice
Triptych Shield of the Ancients
Crown of Empowered Fate
Girdle of Lordaeron's Fallen
Uther's Ceremonial Warboots
Sunblessed Breastplate
Truth Bearer Shoulderguards
Felsteel Leggings
Felsteel Gloves

Tirion Fordring

Transmogging into the famous Paladin is very easy (aslong as you are a paladin that is) Tirion basically wears tier 6 chest, legs, and shoulders, with the belt and boots being boss drops.

Pearl Inlaid Boots
Girdle of Hope
Lightbringer
Argent Crusader's Tabard

Death Knight

The head on this one is a Holy Pally boss drop, it makes a nice change from the usual skulls and scary stuff that Death Knight armor always consists of. As far as I know you can Trangsmog an item which is the same armor type, but has useless stats on, so as a Death Knight you can use Holy Paladin gear.

Hellfrozen Bonegrinders

Dory's Embrace
Faceguard of the Eyeless

Blood Knight

This is not a bad little Blood Knight outfit, tabard is Paladin only, but could be replaced with the Silvermoon if needed. This is also a nice set for Warriors and Dks, you will just need to find a nice two hander.

Blood Knight Defender
Darksoul Shoulders
Archmage's Guile
Gauntlets of Divine Blessings
Girdle of Gallantry
Blood Knight Tabard
Dark Iron Leggings
Panzar'thar Breastplate
Thorium Boots
Blood Knight War Cloak

Death Knight Love

As Death Knights started in Wrath they missed out on having the old tier sets to obtain, but that isn't the end of the world. There are many off set pieces and look alikes to keep and old DK happy.

WoWWiki look alike site  will help you find sets that will make your DK look a bit more brighter, with less skulls.

The Worgan DK look in the first picture is made up of the following:
Myrmidon's Treads
Grips of Silent Justice
Leggings of Divine Retribution
Helm of the Illidari Shatterer
Belt of Seething Fury
Chivalric Chest
Frostblight Pauldrons
Shroud of Forgiveness
Slayer of the Lifeless

Cogs

Gnomes and Goblins are known for their engineering skills, the shield and goggles used by this Gnome can only be used by engineers, but there are plenty of cool looking shields and heads around!

Force Reactive Disk
Goggles
Peacekeeper Blade
Earthslag Shoulders
Carapace of Anub'shiah
Entrenching Boots
Stonewall Girdle
Legplates of the Eternal Guardian

Scarlet for Plate

The Scarlet Crusade have an item set (Chain of the Scarlet Crusade) that drops in the Scarlet Monastery, however these items are mail and due to the restrictions of transmogrification can not be used by plate wearers.

The Scarlet Tabard is the most important part of this, and can be looted off the Scarlet Trainees which appear after Herod is killed in the Armory, however it has a low drop rate so a little bit of farming may be in order.
